Welcome to Family Pet Medical Center, where your pet's health and well-being are our top priorities. We look forward to meeting you and your furry friend for their first appointment.
To ensure a smooth and efficient visit, here's what you need to know about our first appointment requirements.
1. Schedule Your Appointment
To schedule your pet's first appointment, simply give us a call at 954-567-2500. Our friendly staff will find a suitable time that fits your schedule.
2. New Client Information
During your call or online booking, we'll collect essential information about you and your pet. This includes your contact details, your pet's name, age, breed, and any relevant medical history or concerns you might have.
3. Medical Records
If you have any existing medical records for your pet, such as vaccination history or previous medical treatments, please bring them with you to the appointment. 5. What to Bring
-
Your pet, of course! Please make sure your pet is safely secured on a leash or in a carrier to ensure their comfort and the safety of other pets.
-
Any medical records or documentation you have.
-
A list of any medications your pet is currently taking, including dosages and frequencies.
-
If your pet has specific dietary needs or preferences, you might consider bringing a small supply of their regular food.
6. Comprehensive Examination
Your pet's first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know you and your pet better. Our veterinarian will conduct a thorough physical examination, listen to any concerns you might have, and discuss your pet's medical history.
7. Vaccinations and Preventive Care
Based on your pet's age, medical history, and lifestyle, our veterinarian will recommend a personalized vaccination and preventive care plan. Vaccinations are crucial to protecting your pet from various diseases, and preventive care helps maintain their overall health.
8. Discussing Recommendations
After the examination, our veterinarian will discuss their findings and any recommendations for further tests, treatments, or preventive care. We'll answer any questions you might have and work together to create a tailored plan for your pet's ongoing health.
9. Follow-Up
Depending on your pet's health needs, we might schedule a follow-up appointment to monitor progress or administer treatments.
At Family Pet Medical Center, we're excited to be a part of your pet's health journey. Our dedicated team is committed to providing compassionate and exceptional care to your beloved companion.
